Simpl. Privacy Policy
Simpl. attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and carefully monitors compliance with the protective provisions relating to privacy and the processing of personal data, in particular with regard to the Data Protection Act n°78-17 of January 6, 1978, and EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 known as “GDPR” (the “Applicable Legislation”). We have strict internal procedures regarding the storage, access and disclosure of your data. Simpl. is committed to preserving your privacy. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we use the data we collect about you, how you can tell us that you prefer to limit our use of this data, and our procedures to preserve your privacy.
Who are we?
Simpl SAS, a simplified joint-stock company (“société par actions simplifiée”) with capital of 10,000 euros, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Paris (France) under number 949 026 082 having its registered office at 4 Place de Opera, 75002 Paris (France) (hereinafter “Simpl.”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) offers the provision of sustainability data collection and measurement services (the “Services”) to its clients (the “Client”) through a platform accessible via https://platform.Simpl.tools (the “Platform”).
As part of the provision of its services, Simpl is required to process the personal data of employees, contractors or agents of its Clients who represent them in the relationship or who use the Platform (the “Users”).

Where we act as a data processor, we delete personal data upon request of the data controller. In any case, your data will be kept for a period which will not exceed that which is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this policy. This duration will be defined in particular according to the applicable laws and regulations, any recommendations from the CNIL in this matter, the time necessary to achieve the objective pursued, etc.
3. With whom is your personnal data shared ?
We are required to communicate your personal data to our partners and subcontractors, in particular for the purposes of managing the Platform and carrying out the Services subscribed to.
We ensure that our partners and subcontractors process your personal data in accordance with the Legislation in force.
We are also required to transmit your personal data to the competent authorities when we are required to do so by law or to our external advisors in the event of a dispute.
For the purposes set out above, your personal data may be transferred outside the European Union. In this case, we ensure that the partner or subcontractor offers sufficient guarantees with regard to the Applicable Legislation (in particular by the conclusion of standard contractual clauses from the European Commission).
If our business is sold or merged with another company, your data may be transferred to the new owners of the business.
4. How do we protect your personal data ?
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks associated with your personal data. We ensure that personal data is not accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered, unauthorizedly disclosed or accessed in an unauthorized manner.
In this context, we are taking the following measures in particular:
– the data is hosted on secure servers;
– the data is encrypted;
– we have a password policy.
Although we are committed to using our best efforts to protect your personal data, you acknowledge that use of the Internet involves data security risks (hacking, phishing, etc.).
